Globocephalus urosubulatus (Alessandrini, 1909) (Nematoda: Ancylostomatidae) in Brazil: a morphological revisitation

چکیده

Abstract Helminthiasis occurs frequently in wild or domestic pigs the most varied environments production systems; however, literature includes few taxonomic studies for purpose of expanding this knowledge about parasitic diversity these animals. Thus, order to expand regarding animals, present study reports occurrence and redescribes Globocephalus urosubulatus infecting state Pará, Brazil, using microscopy. Four hundred ten specimens Sus scrofa intestinal nematodes were collected extensively municipality Moju, northeastern mesoregion Pará observed under light scanning electron Based on morphological characteristics, identified as G. urosubulatus, new data added by microscopy diagnosis parasite.
